Linocut art print - Metis, Greek goddess of wisdom
Original limited edition linocut art print inspired by Greek mythology. It features the goddess of wisdom, planning and learning, Metis. She was the first wife of Zeus, helped him defeat the Titans, and was the mother of the goddess Athena. This modern interpretation reimagines her as a modern woman, pouring over a stack of novels and deciding what to read next.
A perfect gift for a new home, for book lovers, or as a thank you for teachers and tutors.

About linocut
Linocut is a printmaking technique where designs are carved into linoleum. They are inked with a roller or brayer and then pressed onto paper, either by hand or with a printing press, to reveal the design. Due to the nature of the linoprint process, each piece will have it's own little variations and character, meaning it's unique to you.
